Need advice regarding hidden finance

Well did another hpi check.. whixh told me it still had finance but the finance company may not have removd it off the system.. so that was a waste of a £20.
i need to contact vwfs to check its been paid off why else...

You quite clearly told me you'd already contacted VW Finance and they had told you (once they'd breached the DPA) there was no finance outstanding against the vehicle.

What I'm struggling to understand is why the story keeps changing.

They required the account and ref number in order to tell me.

I have to jump through hoops when I ring the phone company, account number, name, address, D.O.B. security question etc

nice way to talk to someone who offered very solid and sound advice over this entire thread - if you don't want advice or opinions then asking questions for such on a public forum is not the way to go or the place for you
