Have you checked your glow plugs? Take off the wiring (gently pull off) and check the resistance (not greater than 1 OHM according to Elsawin) They may be all out. For comparison check No6 (which hasn't come up as faulty) against the others. Number 1 cylinder is front Left, facing car. No 6 is back Right facing car

Thanks for the response Lukenkarl. Check the resistance across what? If I've removed the harness, am I connecting my meter across the top connector of the plug to, say engine block?

    Edited to say:

Googled for a vid and found this:

Yes. Also with your car being 2.7 TDi metal glow plugs are used as standard. But check they haven't been changed to ceramic because this would cause them to fail without reflashing the control module.

Metal glow plugs have a RED ring seal at the top. Ceramic has a WHITE ring seal

    Did you clear and rescan?

As they've all 'failed' at the same date and time I too think the harness could be faulty.

I've cleared and re-scanned several times. The car starts just fine but the fault codes have been coming up for over a year (at least they were there when I had it serviced last year)

I'll have a play tomorrow and see what comes up.
