Hi I have a small leak coming from my fuel system, its coming from the small white cylindrical item thats connected to the fuel supply, it looks like a one way valve, has a directional arrow on it and is connected to the braided fuel line that comes out of the injector closest to the oil filler cap (theres another one in the same place on the other side also) Ive tried googling "allroad non return valve/fuel line valve" etc but to no avail. Elsawin has failed to give me any answers also.

Could somebody please tell me the name of this item, where I can get a new one online and also I would like to know is it a simple case of clamp the hoses, remove and then replace with new part (I have some amazing tiny jubilee clips I have just discovered!)?

    Thanks.

Like this part? It's described as a pressure valve.

If you confirm engine/gearbox I can give you the part number.

Thanks buddy, when I google that number it comes up with a non return valve for a VW but no pic is it the same one for the audi also? (very possible).

TBH any non return valve that is resistant to fuel will do if its the same diameter so it fits into the fuel pipe.

Been talking to a mechanic friend and we have both been wondering how much difference it makes to starting the vehicle, if it was removed and the vehicle was left for any period of time would the fuel syphon back down the pipe and as such you would have to turn it over for longer rather than have an almost instant start? (is that its purpose?).

Just curious as to how it all works.

Anyone know where I can pick up this part? I have asked a few breakers but they want in the region of £25 + £10 postage does that seem a bit steep?

Ive tried googling the part number and "audi fuel pressure valve" but to no avail.
