I ordered some foglight grilles with the chrome surround from ebay, they arrived and I removed the old ones. However I am having difficulty installing the new ones. The mold is exactly the same, but I don't see how I can snap these back into place? Anyone aware of any instructions floating around, Ideally I would like to avoid taking the bumper off...

Surely just the reverse of taking the old ones out?

I know on my A3 they slide in at one side then the other side is just pushed and clips in and secures.

Check your manual too for changing the fog bulb and it could give tips.

Post some pics of the side of the grills and the bumper gap.

Anything like the ones on my A6 and I'm pretty sure they're the same........

As Chris says pretty much just the reversal of removal, only a case of snapping a few clips into place I'm sure.

    Good luck

I wish it were that simple, but no matter how much jiggling and moderately hitting with a lump hammer they just will not snap back. Nothing is broken and I've heard people from Audizine take the bumper off. I will take some pictures tomorrow

Just had another go today and have came to the conclusion the plastic is not a good mold, the originals snapped back in fine. For those wishing to purchase these from ebay I would avoid..

The right hand side clips in but is still warped slightly, but the left as you can see is terrible. IMO they are the correct ones just a REALLY bad product finish. The ebay advert stated B8 A4, opened a case and he has replied... the only issue it was 12.99 + 8.99 P&P So will probably cost me about that to post back. Will still see if he wants me to return them as they are only fit for the bin anyway!

I've purchased from him before, although they are copies he is usually pretty good - Front Fog Light Non-sline Bumper Grille Grill For AUDI A4 B8 A4L 2009-2011 L+R | eBay

I've read about these on the US Audizine forum. They're made for the Chinese version of the A4 which is the A4L and although they somewhat fit, the aperture is not exactly the same as the ROW A4 SE bumper.
