Ok This is what i mean:

The passat B7 has many new mods, like :
    -Clock on dash
    -FLA assist, big licht assist
    -Lane assist in colour camera
    -VKE, traffic bords/signs reconation
-Tire pressure on the FIS display
    -Side assist
    -Pause/sleeping sensor

All these mods can work on the passat B6. To make them work witout any errors, you need to change some elctronics.
Most important is the B7 gateway 7N0 907 530 AA and the B7 comfortmodule 3AA959433. But if you install this you will get errors with your ELV (steering lock) and error with your IMMO.

There is one guy in Germany called Bronken.de. He did manage this without any errors

Passat B7 KSG / Komfortsteuergerät in Passat B6 eingebaut. Mit B7 / 7N0 Gateway. Ohne ELV Fehler - YouTube

Let me know if someone has done This or got any tips?

    Grtz Jim

You're going to do a total conversion in a car which has been proved to contain many many faults over a short period of time?

Have a look in this section and see what I mean, just buy a B7 far easier and sure they say don't build what you can buy!!
