    Default 2009 audi a5 Standard Audio intermittent Speaker cut out high volume – 04-10-2013,01:06 PM
    Hi,

    I have standard 10 speaker system with Nav and 6 CD changer (Not the B&O system).

    Just a weird problem I'm having, if the volume is too high the speakers kept cutting off, sometimes left, sometimes right for split seconds. As soon as I turn the volume down a bit it stays fine.

    What could be the problem. Anyone had this issue? Please shed some light.

    Probably a fail safe to stop you wrecking them in guessing.

    as an engineer that is an interesting problem, perhaps I should ask does the system have conventional old old carbon track controls?
    my next thought would be joints somewhere. Yes modern systems will shut down if they are driving too much current, or power!
