    Hi all
This is my first post so please bear with me.
    My car:
    Nagaro blue 2003 Audi S4 B6
    4.2 V8 BBK
I hope to fit a new engine shortly which is a BHF and from what I understand the engines are almost identical with only a few changes.
One of the problems I may come across could be wiring loom comparability with the new components that are on the new engine, I've heard that some of the plugs may not fit as they may be the wrong shape, and also there are repair parts available that would overcome this.
    Anyone any ideas?

I may be wrong but I think the BBK is the European/UK version of the 4.2 and the BHF is the same engine but for the US market - if this is the case then there will be some subtle differences that could make this swap a PITA - wiring, fuel lines and even ECU may be different
