I did last night, but it's getting more and more soot. It's up to 41g now, i think limit is 45g and then DPF replacement or removal.

I bought new throttle body, will replace that and try to regenerate. I think that's what stopped regen in the first place.

I'm no mechanic, but that looks a tadge gunky to me. Did you give it a good clean with brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner?

It's not that bad, i have seen worse. I cleaned it with wheel acid. I find it really good to remove old oil and carbon build up. I think i will get EGR delete from darkside.

Fitted new throttle body yesterday and no more fault code. It does not require adaptation or coding, just plug and play. If it's faulty it stops regeneration happening. It's made by VDO and latest revision end with part no E. New one also had plastic flap instead of metal one.

After I had replaved throttle valve and glow plugs I tried to regenerate DPF, but no it wouldn't whilst driving. So i parked up and tried to regenerate whilst parked and it went well. It burned out the soot down to 5g, DPF light went out and car drives much better now.

Super duper, would you be tempted by a cheeky DPF gutting and a remap?

I'm thinking to remove DPF and EGR on my A6. Not sure if engine will be able to handle, but I'd love hybrid turbo.
