    Hello!

Bought a 2004 A4 1.8T Avant a few weeks ago, and all seemed to be going well, until we had some very heavy rain.

After the rain, and it all dried up, there seemed to be a lot water under the front of the car, got onto my hands and knee's and saw a lot of water still dripping from underneath the car, PANIC!, I've got a coolant leak, but after checking the header bottle, it all seemed ok.

It looks like water collects in the undertray and very slowly drips away, is this common? if so is it a design fault, or more likely a blocked drain hole...?

    TIA

Water shouldn't collect in the tray unless its not fitted correctly.Have you checked the drains under the battery> Any sign of water there needs sorting asap
