Might be sorely tempted to put some motion-sensor floodlights on the drive having read this. Especially as the council here now swith the street lighting off at midnight.

floodlights will just make it easier for them to see what they are at. all you can really do is fit a pedal lock or steering lock to slow them down and a bollard behind the car to stop them driving off or chain the car to the ground. even if a floodlight did wake you up, what are you going to do, take on 4 blokes who will go down if they get caught ??

If it stops them stealing your pride and joy I wouldn't mind! Any deterrent to stop them targeting your car.

To be fair the simple cat 3 steering lock or an obdII port lock although it may not stop them it will slow them down or more on to the next car.

Does this type of theft relate only to the keyless entry option or all A6s with standard keyless go? If they are creating a cloned key through the OBD port then I suspect all A6s may be at risk.

All C7s use keyless go (non door opening tho) to start the car.
