A First Look at the 2014 Golf Plus in the Frankfurt Show

Volkswagen will be showing a Golf Sportsvan concept car in Frankfurt which shows what next year's new Golf Plus will be like. (It's said that the new car will not be badged as a "Sportsvan" or a "Golf Plus".)

It looks good to me, and keeps the sliding rear seat as well as growing slightly in its wheelbase, length and boot size. It also seems to get the new Golf 7 goodies.

It seems they're keeping the "Sportsvan" name in Germany although it probably won't survive the trip across the North Sea.

Have had my SV 2.0 GT TDI for 3 weeks now. Only has a GOLF badge on the tailgate - really makes people confused as they realise it's much bigger than a Golf. Leather interior and Black Pearl paint job. Have done about 1700 miles and it's been a real pleasure. Got used to the BlueMotion very quickly and I am very impressed with the Adaptive Cruise Control (which also has a speed limit mode - very useful in average speed contol roadworks). I'm averaging 62 mpg already.
