MPG this morning from Kirkliston to Glasgow along the M8 was 60mpg on the DIS. Had the car remapped to 240bhp last weekend with an EGR delete so well chuffed with the improvement.

Very good! What speed were you doing tho?

What's the cause of your engine light? Was the EGR removed from the ecu programming?

Reset trip computer 2 and do a brim to brim test and report back.

    That's some good MPG from a 2.7 V6 TDi ...

I think the MIL is from swirl flap issue from looking at OP's previous threads ...

I was doing the posted speed limit all the way which was from 30 mph to 70 mph.
The EGR was removed with programming in the remap and I will do a brim to brim on comp 2 once I fill up again. The CEL is on as I have an ongoing swirl flap issue which has been said and hopefully will be getting sorted out in a few weeks. The garage have already replaced the linkages on both side and are now going to take the manifolds off and decoke them. If that doesn't solve it then they have said they will replace them.

Can you post or PM some details of where you got it done and how much please bud. I have a 2006 2.0 TDI and never got her above 41MPG (and that took some doing). Even on an 800 mile motorway trip from Edinburgh to Englandshire it sat about 40MPG She runs sweet enough but seems a bit thirsty compared to my old Volvo 2.5 D5 (52MPG) and Mondeo 2.0 TDCi (56MPG).

Got it done at "dashfixer" in hillington glasgow, cost £250 steal of the century took about 3 hours they did my last car ( ford focus cough cough ) and it changed completely had daughters car in for service and the guy rememberd my private plate so we got talking and when he told me the price I booked it there and then ...... they had to read the original map, because c/p of the ecu might have gave them probs , but they got it done with no probs deff worth getting done phone no 0141 891 8877 give them a call and talk to them
