Would these fit in my 55 plate A6 avant.

Hello all,

Does anyone know if the window and handbrake switches from a new A6 will fit in my A6 avant SE 55 plate? It's the ones with the aluminium tips?

Yes the facelift ones will fit but for genuine switches they're god damn dear!

No cheaper from Audi direct either, believe me I've checked!

Edit - infact the main master switch won't fit as the prefacelift uses individual child locks/windows for the rear on that switch and that switch only does windows.

With free p+p I will guy two sets

cheers for the advice though, it's mainly the handbrake switch that looks the worst. I stumbled on the rest of the switches by accident. Might just start with that one and go from there.

There are chinese alternatives (ie copies), I wouldn't bother with them imo.

I tend to stay away from that kinda import stuff personally, what you save in price you generally lose in quality/ reliability. Of course there is always the exception to the rule but I tend to play it safe.

just can't wait to get the car a bit more suited to my personal taste.
