Can DIS be retro-fitted in an '06 A3?

Hi,

I'm looking at a '06 A3 from and large non-Audi dealer and there are a few things I'd need to know for sure before buying.

I noticed that the DIS panel didn't light up in the A3 I test-drove today - other more modern A3s I've driven had expected info being displayed.

So, how can I tell for sure if DIS available for retro-fitting on this A3?

Yes dis can be fitted & if its the basic level lamp/icon cluster, we can change this for the full dis version, only issue is you're way up north & we're down south lol.

Show us a pic of ignition turned on.

So from that pic, DIS can be fitted?

Also, what's the difference between the "full dis version" and another version?

Need to see wiper stalk aswell

that could just be turned off - as above there should be a flat button on the bottom of the wiper stalk.. tap this to pump life into the display

Here are two pics of the fairly basic-looking wiper stalk.

Unfortunately, it looks like this car is just a bit out of our reach, cost-wise, unless the dealer can drop the price a bit.

But in any case, if he does drop the price a bit, does it look like I can enable full DIS on this? What all would I need?
