engine light on, in need of advise pls

Hi, had engine light on - did a scan got

005445 - Throttle Valve Controller
P1545 - 001 - Malfunction - Intermittent

took the throttle body off and did a clean, the butterfly vlave on the end was stuck and futher inspection 'the gears in side are all shot', so replaced this today. With the hoper that all was good, but now got

do i need to reset the throttle valve, the replacement had a sticker on it saying re-coding might be required. but unsure where.

if i clear the errors, they come back.

the car starts and runns ok, but engine light is still on - so unsure if i can drive it any distance with these errors.

i've looked about and cannot find any matches, so had to post a question
