    Default Lower arm suspension bushes – 04-09-2013,01:57 PM
    Hi everyone

    I've got my 05 Audi A4 2.0TDI SE in for servicing at the moment. I got a call today from the Audi garage saying that the lower arm suspension bushes need replacing and they quoted me £1236 to get it fixed. This seemed a bit steep for me and after a quick google search I saw that other people were getting this work done on other VW group cars for around £200-300. Is the dealership overcharging me here and would it be more cost effective just to replace the whole suspension arm rather than just the bushes if its going to cost me this much?

    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    i think you have the wrong end of the stick. i hope you do anyway. there are 2 lower arms each side, a bush one end and a ball joint the other. please call them back and ask exactly what they are wanting to do and exactly how much.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...
