Farewell Passat B6!

Well due to family circumstance than fault with the car, I have sold by Passat Highline estate. It brings 5 years of owning 2 Passats to an end.

Luckily because I chose a petrol 2005 model as my first I was immune to a lot of the initial diesel problems - by the time I came to own a diesel I'd learned to choose the 1.9tdi.

Got to say though this forum has been fantastic and got me out of some sticky situations, and I'll hang around from time to time. We buy a brand new S Max Titanium in the next 2 weeks and I inherited (literally) an E90 3Series.

I'm in no way ruling out a return to Passats in the future but it is nice to have a complete change of marque.

Enjoy the S-Max. I've spent a fair bit of time in Ford showrooms and on test drives lately. They've got some good products. Pity that the new Mondeo is STILL delayed or I might have ended up with one.
