Changed the brakes and discs other day and some came out when I pushed the pads back.

could smell fluid today when driving so had a look, more has come out of the filler cap,

should I be worried or is it just levelling itself out?

the car has no fault lights on and is braking well.

you need to remove some fluid so its sat at the 'max' level mark. using the brakes heats the fluid, fluid expands, has to go somewhere, out the cap if its too high already.

Thanks for the advice, I removed approx 30-40ml with a syringe,

although for every bit I removed, the level raised back up after 1-2 seconds,

    bizarre I know......?

Ive been for a long drive and there has only been a tiny trickle this time,

rather than being covered in it

Make sure you wash off any drips and overspill as brake fluid is corrosive and will eat paint and rubber
