    Hi.
Can anyone tell me the internal diameter of the fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel filter.im thinking of fitting a hand primmer inline just before the filter to aid a filter change.the ends on the primmer are metal and come in different sizes that are moulded to each end.
    Thanks for any info.

i would leave it alone myself. a squeezy thing will just make things difficult when it blows under the pressure. just fit the new filter and start the engine.

If it needed a squeezy thing Audi would have supplied a squeezy thing. If it's a PD it's self priming if it's a VP just fill it with diesel

might be an old fergie tractor though, that would need a fuel can hanging above the engine, or an old 2 1/4 landy.

oh god, a mondeo, had loads of fun getting them to start. as you say, all vags are easy as they have bosch pumps (pre pd). petrols just don't need bleeding.
