    Hi All,

Ive got a MKIV (1998) Golf GT TDI - and recently Ive noticed that the brakes seem very spongey and ineffective while Im idling in traffic or generally when the engine is at low revs - there isnt a problem when the revs are higher (2000 and above)

Any ideas what might be causing the problem?

    Cheers
    Andrew
