Can anyone help me? I've seen an identical thread on this forum for the VW Golf, but I need the same info for a 2006 Octavia vRS. I'm looking for the wire colours for the reverse light and ground, preferably from the passenger side cluster (if they're different on either side).

    any help greatly appreciated!

Sorted it out myself. If you take out the bulb cluster in the rear lights, you can follow the metal "tracks" around to see - obviously the ground is the "track" shared by all bulbs (leads to brown wire), and the live track for the reverse light is also easy to identify (leading to blue/black wire).
Scotchlock connectors onto these, and parking sensors fitted in under 2 hours - easy!
