Audi A6 rust on rear wheel arch

Been meaning to post this for ages but just forgot.



Saving a repair, is there anything I can do? Might this even be covered by Audi's paint warranty? It ain't small but assume it's down to me to sort?

No harm in trying with them, although if the panel has been painted at some stage in its life then it obviously ain't original so won't be covered.

Also they'll only cover it if its came from beneath the paint and not been 'made' to rust ie like a stone chip that's spread.

Im pretty sure there has been no respray, but yeah looking at it it's from stone chips. More like rock chips given the size. Wish I'd seen this before I bought the car and could got then to sort it as this hasn't been done whilst Ive had the car

I also have this issue, mines a 2005 vs your 2008 plus mines an avant. What did you do/outcome under warranty?
