I have just replaced all 4 discs and pads and the passenger side control arm for the MOT and now on acceleration and de throttle the front end seems to sway left then right as though may be the engine mounts are worn? Im not sure what it was like before the MOT as I dont drive it very much as it is my girlfriends car.
The v5 are fairly powerfull and on acceleration it just does not seem right...any ideas,
    cheers
    Graham.

I'm no expert, but if a steering or suspension part has been replaced I think the tracking needs checking / adjusting. You could also have a look at the gearbox mounting (as well as the engine mountings). Failing any of that it could just be torque steer from that 150BHP .
