Watched the UFC at the weekend, one of the most gruelling and brutal sports around & saw a guy who developed heart problems and obviously had to quit the sport. He required surgery. With the advances in this area, his heart's back to working at 90% and he's about to make his UFC comeback. Just goes to show that with the amazing things surgeons can do these days and enough determination & positivity, people can get through things like this.

Hope this hasn't come across as patronising Col, just made me think of your situation when I saw it. Hope you're feeling a little better now chap.

    Cheers Brycie,

My heart is 100% in function. It just periodically tries to kill me when the electrics misfire.

Happened again today. I very suddenly and quickly went into VT then VF and if it wasn't for the ICD I wouldn't be here.

I collapsed and hit the deck very hard and have four loose front teeth and a massive shiner around my the top of my right eye socket.

At least I'm still here to tell the story.
