Software update

Hi,
i recently had my auto gearbox repaired which seems to have been successful,the garage told me that I would have to go to an Audi garage to get a software update . The left rear brake , reverse and indicator warning light keep coming on and off in the dash . Bulbs seem ok . Warning lights come on after about 3-4 mins driving . My car is a 2006 2.0 tdi auto sline . Will Audi update the software and how much doesit cost?

Check the bulb holder for corrosion, common fault hence the false warnings.

Did the garage tell you why it needed an update?

Thanks , will check for corrosion ASAP . The garage did not give me a reason , should I have this checked out ? Can anybody recommend the best place to have this looked at .
