Ask because mine just seems to just sit in the space behind the toolkit, previous owner insulated with latex gloves to stop it moving around but am sure it's supposed to be fixed securely in some way....quite how I can't fathom though!

undo the big clip, slide the jack in (from the bottom) and do up the clip again, it should all line up nicely.

Snap, you just beat me to it ......

The clip is the black plastic bit with the big yellow sticker on it. Maybe that has snapped off on yours?

Aha no clip/bracket whatsoever in mine so have ordered one from local Audi dealership at the princely sum of £6.49 inc VAT.

Glad I asked and thanks for the replies!

Mine is fixed with a rubber band. It is quite thick (1cm) and pulls round the jack about half way up. Probably about the same height as the top of the bracket.

Well picked mine up today and it's a hefty piece of plastic for the money!

    Part No is A4F0 011 215B

Incidentally saw a snazzy plastic ashtray that fits in the drinks cup with a sprayed silver top bearing the 4 rings, asked how much and was gobsmacked when they said £51

So clearly if it's practical and not 'on show' it's cheap, if it's an embellishment it's gonna be costly!

Chris, on your pic there's a piece of plastic against the rear wing behind the toolkit, I don't seem to have that...just a gap is it fixed or does it come out

What bit are you talking about Mark? The thing the manual fuel filler release is hooked on to?
