    As I advised, you would be best to just buy the repair wires & repair it that way, if done properly, then it should be fine ongoing.

    The repair wires replace the wires in the multiplug, so new pin ends included & then can be cut in half to make 2 wires.

    Did not realise about getting new wire with pins.Pretty much knocked now then as there are 13 wires.Go for the new loom then what do you think.

    New looms can be very expensive, tbh I would buy a used loom & cut the wires of & use these to repair with, as if its £20 or so for used loom, that's allot cheaper than some wires alone from vag.

    Do you not think its wise just to fit a secondhand one from eBay without cutting the wires.Fit complete or is it a difficult task ? Thanks again for your help.

    Removed the loom yesterday and repaired broken wires on a temp basis,a lot easier while on the bench and in your hand.Purchased a replacement from ebay and fitted today.Pleased everything working fine now.Thanks again for all the help and hints.Cheers
