    Evening all !

Had a scan done on my car today and the rear drivers side parking sensor is up the spout !

Anyone know the part number for this beast and if they are available pre painted?

    Car is a 2006 pre-facelift saloon

    Merci buckets

There are plenty on ebay, I think there a good few threads on here for easy removal too.

Try and get like for like to the one that's currently fitted for handiness from the part number stamped on it.

    Will have a quick look

Should be something in here - https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...sensor+removal

    i) 7H0 919 275 E is the last revision from what I recall but will double check & post if differ ...

ii) you are better off getting newer revisions of sensor than same as current fitted, I had lower than rev. E on mine when I got car, all slowly failed and I got a set of E rev ones of ebay £40 for 4 delivered new & unpainted ...

iii) no difference in sensors for Saloon or Avant or even year from I recall in the 2004 - 2011 range ...

iv) from main dealer only a few colours are pre painted , on ebay you can find the common colours pre painted, spray at home is not that hard with a spray can, having never used a spray can I got great results following few simple rules from online guides, ie spray at distant, waft over sensor, don't concentrate in one area, do coats to get intensity of colour , etc , etc ...

E is the latest & there are 5 colour flavours, 1 being primed.

    Hi,
I should try and get one off E-Bay as I too have had the same problem this week. I paid £24 as the price from the main dealer was around £90, not sure if this was painted though.

Getting the rear bumper off is a bit of a pain but when you have found all the fixings its not too bad. I did buy my paint from Main Dealer as I wanted an exact match and it was about the same price as other places that I looked at.

    Good Luck.
