    Default rear lights on passat estate – 01-09-2007,09:34 PM
    hi all this is ma first post and just wondering if anyone can help with ma query...I have a 1999 passat estate syncro and have damaged the rear light clusters .. does anyone know if the newer style cluster will fit as it looks much nicer imo ... thanks regards bear

    Welcome aboard.

    They fit easily. You'll need to fab a small bracket to hold them in place though. From memory the wiring is a little different too.

    I did once see a How To on the internet, maybe on here... http://www.passatplus.de/umbauteile/index.htm
    Interesting site nontheless.

    You can paste the URl into babelfish or google translator.

    I think http://www.passatplus.de/umbauten/ru...en/adapter.htm might be the connector.
