Hi all , bought 2.0 TDI 140bhp . Seems to have low boost . My Father has a B5.5 and have located N75 , Sister has 08 B6 and this has N75 but cannot locate on the 05 . Is there a reason this has been changed back on the 08 ? Fuel filter changed , pipes checked for leaks . Is it possible someone knows where the N75 is located on 05 B6 ? Is there one ? Thanks for any info

    Hi ,

    Welcome to VWAF! ...

I searched for 2005 Passat 2.0 TDi , 2 engine codes came up, I think yours would be BGW?

Regardless of engine code N75 is coming as being fitted, to find it follow a small hose running off the air filter cover ... P/N on it should be 1J0 906 627 A ...

Depending on model/engine, you may not have a N75 valve. Many models have a solenoid block with several pipes attached to it. I would look for damaged pipes with a low boost code. (vacuum pipes and intercooler pipes.)

+1 - Can confirm mines doesn't have N75 however has the big solenoid block. You can't miss it - Its on the firewall next to the battery.

This solenoid block is termed as N75 when searching via SDC code system ...

    The P/N I posted in post 1 has a description 'Pressure converter(for turbocharger)' ...
