Look at your thread Roy - Fitting TPMS

Quotes from Mark reveal that extra bits are needed for the facelift and its not just a matter of coding.

Checking your tyre pressures should be a regular thing and you shouldn't be relying on a computer to tell you a tyre is soft.

I regularly check mine as I'm doing 6-700 miles a week in the A3 and obviously don't wanna be stuck on a motorway at 3am changing a wheel.

Just read through the TPMS post, looked on ebay for the bits, nothing there.

How about an after market one? Can't recommend one I'm afraid but might be worth it in the long run!

    An electromagnet.

That's what you need, an electromagnet.

Mount it under the front valance and punch the button - a discreet illuminated switch marked 'Enable' would be better - when you turn into the road where your site is.

On the way out, stop for long enough to put a travel blanket* under the bumper, turn the magnet off and Robert's your mother's brother. A blanketful of assorted fixings perfect for that DIY project your wife has been whining about for the past six months.

*This one is nice. It's big enough, and it's plaid, and it's got a handy waterproof backing.

    W. Warden (gender unknown) from Buckinghamshire had the following to say about it:

"I bought two of these rugs to keep my rabbits hutch dry and to keep them warm and protected from the winter chill overnight. It dries out quickly if it gets damp. The patterened rug side does get a bit damp in the rain, through the waterproof backing, but they do a good job and I'd recommend them to anyoe, for their bunnies and asa picnic rug. :-) "

There can be no higher praise.

3 types, 1 is abs circumference related, 1 is what appears to be a basic version with sensors on each wheel, then it denotes a high version also with sensors in each wheel, it should be possible for any of the 3, more so the sensor based versions as this seems to work independently of any abs module version, whereas the abs related tpms needs the module to support of course, but I think the reason why it hasn't worked so far for guys on here, is because the abs version still shows a module utilised for tpms even with no sensors in place, so I would grab a module, wire it up test like, then try coding abs module again along with the 7K6 tpms module.

Alternative is a little expensive for all the parts.
