    Car: A4 SE B6 2002 Quattro 1.9TDi Remapped, 150K

    Due a recent flooding of the battery compartment area cause by blocked drainage holes I had a few crazy electrical issues, most of which have now been resolved by installing a new electrical control module. However, I still have flashing ABS failure warning lights (along with the handbrake parking light) and a steady EPS light on the dash. The car seems to drive fine and If I slam on the breaks I can still steer which means the ABS is still working (i think, i.e. the wheels don't lock up). The VCDS log is shown below and obviously it has something to do with supply voltages.

    Any wisdom on what is the underlying cause of the faults? i.e. which components and how to fix them?

    Your help is immensely appreciated.

    Depending on the depth of the water and the length of time it went unnoticed you may have flooded the brake servo/booster in the bulkhead.

    As for the codes;

    Just because you can steer whilst heavy braking doesnt neceesarily mean the ABS is working. You will certainly know its working if the ABS module is pulsating the brake pressure allowing you to brake....and you can feel this through the brake pedal.....if there is no feedback through the pedal then something is amiss.

    Thanks for all your help. It was an ABS fuse issue. Simply replaced the fuse and the errors disappeared.
