Does anyone know if the chrome trim round the front grill is available without the rest of the grill ?

Got a chip from a stone in mine.

I doubt it, I know when my A3 needed a new grille it required the whole assembly.

Why not take the opportunity to wrap it? Or get a second-hand one off eBay?

Seems a bit extreme (imo! but each to their own) to me replacing a grille because of a stone chip

    Merd.

Wraped grills are not my thing Chris.

Or get a second-hand one off eBay?

Just looked on ebay, They are worse than mine.

It's a large chip, 1/4 inch and it draws my eye straight to it

Roy, you must have heard that when it happened?

    4 options:

    1) Park everywhere head on so you don't have to look at it when walking back to your car = £0
    2) Have it filled and wrapped in exactly the same finish as OEM - who's to know? = £40
    3) Buy a good quality aftermarket grill = £150
    4) Buy a new OEM grill from dealer at a guess = £350 from dealer

Place your bets ladies and gentlemen!

Was going to mention a Car Bra but that doesn't cover the chrome bit

    Didn't hear a thing Mark.
We had just returned from the doctors and at first I thought it was a bead of water, went to wipe it off with a cloth and ,
My son works in an accident repair shop, he's going to see what he can get a replacement for
    ,
Failing that, keep his eyes open for a spare from a shunt.
He's just popped in with a wheel I won on ebay for a spare, he took it to work to put a tyre on it for me.

Now it says C5 08-12 in the title (which we know isn't right) then the description states C6 08-12
