Hi guys , first post so any help appreciated,
got a4 cab 2003 3.0 sport, not long bought it and found few isissues

drivers seat won't move forward or back off either switch, everything else on seat works
alarm goes off, (no siren though) after couple mins when locked with remote or key,
sit inside with ignition off and can hear noises as though not going to sleep,
Roof opens fine and light goes off on dash, but close it and it closes but the windows don't close back up ant the roof
light stays on on the dash.
Tried manual reset loads of times
I suspect convenience control module but not sure if,module covers all faults? I plugged a snap on scanner in and it won't communicate with seat at all, and says code 00470 for roof

any clues? I have own bodyshop and got car with slight rear damage but roof was perfect when had it

    mark

You need a proper scan doing as there appears to be multiple issues. Put a friendly request out in the VCDS section for a user to help out in your area.

at switch tomorrow, I took the ccm out from under seat no apparent damage or signs of water,
does anyone know if ccm can cause can bus to not go to sleep? And as it anything to do with roof?

When you say CAN bus does not go to sleep what ECU is awake? CAN bus is just lost of ECU talking on wires. If you see activity then it may worth finding out what ECU is alive.
