Hello all, was just checking ebay for air, fuel, oil and pollen filters but all sellers ask to check the measurements/dimensions of the filters before buying (even though I have selected the correct variations of my vehicle) . How can I find that's out without taking my vehicle to my mechanic and asking him to measure the filters.

Some parts are just as cheap from Audi.

    Oil - Audi/VW Quantum LONGLIFE 3 Oil - 5w/30 - 5 Litres | eBay

Pollen Filter - Audi A6 C6 2.7 TDI Estate MANN Cabin/Pollen Filter Genuine Service OE Spec | eBay

Air filter - Audi A6 C6 3.0 MANN Air Filter Genuine OE Spec Service Replacement Part New | eBay

If you advise us of the engine fitted we can help with the air and fuel filter.

    MANN are OEM spec parts.

Hiya, Just spoken to audi they are charging £400.52 for an interim service seems like a rip off. The parts itself are Air filter £22.24 Fuel Filter £56.78 Pollen Filter £37.23 and about £86 or something for the oil and filter, which comes to just over £200 so does that mean they charge another £200 for labour? I looked up on euro car parts where the above four parts inc 9 ltrs of Castrol oil (engine takes 8.2 ltr) comes upto to £138.02. Where on the vehicle can I find the engine code? cheers

The engine code is on a sticker in the boot might also be in the service book or on the cam cover. It's either BPP or BSG. A dealer should give you the engine code if you give him your reg. If you get the work done by Audi you get a stamp on the service book (very attractive to buyers). A dealer usually gives a diagnostic scan (80.00 min cost) plus they dispose of old oil etc. It takes over 1.5 hours to service this vehicle.

    Hi Shawn,

I recently did my service with genuine audi parts, after getting a quote from audi of near the same price as yours I rang TPS who did the parts a lot cheaper. If I recall correctly the parts cost around £100 including the oil from TPS and that is for genuine Audi parts... you should give them a call and see what they quote you... done a search on google for you and the nearest TPS to Southampton is in SO50. The details are below

    Southampton TPS
    Unit 3 M3 Trade Park
    Leigh Road
    Eastleigh
    Hampshire
    SO50 9YA

    Tel: 02380 627540

The engine code you can find on the sticker in the wheel well of your car, if you look in the boot and remove the spare wheel you will see a sticker with loads of codes on there there is a three letter one, I believe the engine code begins with the letter B.

    Hope this helps

Will pull out the receipt and upload all prices on here later on. My Audi is the 2.0litre TDI so there probably will be a variation in prices depending on engine size...

    Thanks
