Bluetooth Telephone problems

Seems to be the reverse of what I've been suffering. My wifes 4S has been absolutely fine, whereas my S2 has been rubbish.

Strange thing is software...............!

Will see what happens when I get the new discs.

What droid version is your S2 running Mark as the S2 was a little bit funny with some BT modules in the 8P aswell tbh mate, which was corrected with the newer version, so yours maybe resolved with an update on either or both systems.

I just updated to the latest leaked 4.2.2 on my S3 & it is allot better tbh overall.

Latest possible on S2 whuch is 4.1.2. Limited by my 3 contract I'm afraid and cant be bothered to get a custom Rom as its due for replacement in November. Hopefully a newer phone will help.

Ok.

Well I'm feeling rather deflated now. The 5570 update discs came a few days ago, and had time this evening to spend crossing fingers that everything would go ok.

Disc 1 went in, and updated several things. Only took 10 minutes (if that).

Took out the disc and replaced it with disc 2............... nothing. Couldn't find anything to update!! Gutted!

Removed disc 2 and inserted disc 3. Updated to 5570 in another 10 minutes.

MMI rebooted (several times) and no real difference. Not surprisingly no change to the phone connection.

I'm now running the following:

SW: C6-HU 55.7.0 0835
HW: C6-HU 6350D2.0
FC SW: 05071AFC6AB320060
FC PS: 0060 FC HW: H01

Tried disc 2 again afterwards and still the same. Took a note of all the options:

MMI Hi NA
TUN NA

AMI NA
NAV -
DSP_C6K NA
Handyvorb2 N

Does anything look out of place? I expected to see something about the Bluetooth phone module.

I could not see the phone book using my iphone 4s. I ran all three discs and the bluetooth module vanished, but ran disc 2 again and it re-appeared. Now have all functions on my phone

Will try again tomorrow, but I get the impression it must be running the latest version already. How - I have absolutely no idea - unless it was updated by the dealer before I got it (2009).

I've got iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3 and I'm suffering with poor phone connection with Bluetooth module too. Very often phone disconnects during the phone calls and after let's say 1 min connects again. This is very annoying, so did updates to MMI (55.7.0) hoping this will resolve the issue but no luck. So, now I'm thinking it's iPhone issue, as I did read few threads on Apple forums and there are many disappointed people because of the same problem. I tried my colleagues Samsung Note and it was working without any pronlem.

It takes a while for the Phonebook to download from an iPhone.

My 4S and my wife's 4 work 100% in both the A3 and A6 without problems.

Upgrading to a 5 in the next couple of weeks so can comment on that too.

6.1.3 on her's, 6.1.2 on mine.

Audi MMI 5570 using HFP.

Just make sure everything is switched on and ticked on your bt menu
