Hi, hoping someone can please help.

I've searched everywhere to try and find details on how to remove the rear panel in the Avant but without much luck =(

I understand that the rear panel needs to come out to access top bolts on strut am at the point where think will end up breaking the panel, does anyone have any hint's/tips on how best approach this?

Do I really need take the panel out??

    Cars a (57) S-line avant, 2.0tdi

    Thanks in advance

To answer my own question, no it doesn't.
My mechanic said it wasn't the friendliest of jobs (maybe a bit stronger language than that) but dropping the subframe gave enough room to remove old and replace new.
