Hello I've got a local tuning company nearby and was planning to put my A4 2.0T quattro on a dyno run to see the power output. But the guy didn't want to take a chance with my quattro system. Can someone elaborate on what issues there is? If anyone wants to know its extreme motorsport in whitburn

does he have 2 rollers or 4. for yours, like all 4x4's, you need 4 rollers and i suspect he has only 2 so can do fwd or rwd cars only.

Do dyno's work like rolling roads in testing bays? You can rolling road quattro a4's.

I done a bit of research and it turns out that you should really use a rolling road which simulates normal road conditions i.e. the rollers should be synchronized for all AWD cars like the A4. I think the Haldex systems used in A3's and other VAG cars can be made to run on a rolling road by disconnecting the ESP/ABS controller fuse to make it simulate a 2WD.
