I have a 2000 Bora V5 and recently when i travel long distances, it will slip from 5th to 4th gear every 50-60km and i will have to stop the car, start the engine again and it will be fine. When i reach another 50-60 km it will do the same thing again and i will have to repeat the same procedure.Just wondering what could be the cause. The gearbox is auto engine code AGZ just wondering if the problem is electrical or ,mechanical because id does not have any problem when driving around town only when i embark on long distance journeys
