    Default 1.8T Fuel pump problem – 03-06-2013,02:34 PM
    Hi, my 1998 1.8t will not idle without jumping about all over the place, but lately it just keeps conking out, i'm guessing the fuel pump may giving low pressure, but i don't know how to access it, so any advice is welcome,

    welcome to the forum.
    why would you guess the fuel pump is at fault. what you need is a fault code readout.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    Thanks for the replay Zollaf, i have VAGCOM software, but i need a cable for the Alhambra which i'll buy,

    do you know where the interface is located to plug the cable in?? thanks

    I've found the OBD socket under the front ashtray!!!
