    i was wondering if batt was replaced with new what possible reasons would the key be stuck in the ignition with new batt and also i no power to windows or radio or interior lights just shows the millage and trip odom also can unlock and lock doors with stuck key haz lights work nothing else also steering wheel is locked

    Key is also linked to the gear change so you can't remove it unless it's in P. There may also be a small recess round the ignition barrel where you can push it in and release the key but you need to confirm this first.

    I had similar problem, but I inserted wrong key, key from A4. Key remained in ignition lock some time and released after that. I want to say, that probably module did not recognize the key. Try with spare one.

    ok so after i cleared all codes i was able to connect to all controllers except abs module. steering wheel turns free now..everything electrical works now with charged battery. still can not remove key from ignition. car will not move out of park and after the switch under the ashtray was pushed for emergancy release lets the shifter move slightly down but not into a gear also the shift button is pushed all the way in at all times i assume it is broken but for some reason car does not seem to know that it is in park and still wont go into nutural
