    hi and thanks, I have unzipped the folder and updated the unit,came on the screen update do not turn off.and restarted but the Bluetooth still isn't showing ie no firmware numbers

    In that case look in the unit options for bluetooth and ensure it's switched on and discoverable, same with your phone and when they find each other accept the pairing code.

    hi the unit Bluetooth comes on for about 1min,but everythings greyed out so can't press anything to find phone also the Bluetooth still shows no firmware numbers thank mike

    Do it like this, make your phone discoverable and then switch the AV on and search

    That or your phone isn't compatible, there has been a lot of issues with Skoda radio's not working with iPhones at one time, you need to see which protocols the unit and the phone use.

    hi have tried everything still no Bluetooth, in you reply it says special can accessory needed,forgive me but whats that mean and were do I find one vw Passat 06 2ltr est thanks mike

    You will need to contact Pioneer about that as I believe it's your can-gateway which will require a new unit but I'm unsure if that would effect the BT function or not, they could just mean an iso loom Pioneer will be able to help you with that, alternatively call Dynamic Sounds and as one of the guys there (very helpful) as it maybe a £35 Connects2 lead you need.

    hi all forgot to say this unit came out of a golf and came with all fitting am I right in thinking this will still fit in my Passat 06 with the fitting that came with it thanks mike
