In fact I was offered a job interview with a company which was owned by people from a certain section of Christianity that wouldn't let me have a radio in my company car, expected me to start work at 6am, didn't allow drinking at company Christmas functions etc. I now work for a company owned by Muslims & you wouldn't know the difference between the way they do things & the way any other western company does things (I can have a beer with them etc). One of the Directors is a woman. In fact some Muslim countries have had women leaders & they don't all wear full burkhas in Muslim countries, so just as there is sections of Muslim culture that is very orthodox, there are also sections of Christianity that are very orthodox. You just can't discriminate & generalise an entire race/religion as all being the same.

Don't start me off on bloody Christian fanatics, I used to work with one and every day without fail he'd try to convert me, I say convert cos I did have a vicar rinse my hair when I was unable to say......keep yer bleedin religion I'm wanna go somewhere with bars and girls not learn harp for eternity,

He would constantly quote and I got sick of it tbh, I asked him to stop, I told him it ain't for me and if it's his bag then that is fair enough, I won't teach you how to please a lady so please don't teach me how to leave her frustrated and it kinda went like that,

Then we have the Jehovah who used to wake me up at 9am after a nightshift with his ready made speech like a preacher on whiskey in the deep south on sunday, that only stopped after I forgot he was a small old guy and gave him a bugle full of NO! and don't call again...EVER!

I agree with you mate and I'd like to add a thought if I may. 30 years ago Irish people, and actually some people that are now on UK passports bombed, maimed and murdered their fellow men, women and children in the UK. Were there internet forums in those near enough days do you think they would have been filled with anti-Irish paddy bashing and tarring them all with the same brush? I do, yet the actual amount of active militants was probably no more 1 or 2 percentage points of the population if that. I am trying to be objective as hating people bores me (except for my lazy good for nothing neighbor)

For me groups like the EDL/BNP stand for a lot more than they publicly admit, just like the mirror groups of them ...
    I could actually vote BNP

I'll explain, if you look at their manifesto it reads very much like a lot of peoples wishes on all the other topics other than race

The EDL I don't know much about

UKiP is another I don't know too much about but the one observation I would like to post is this

UKiP is seen as the respectable party out of the three, but what if once elected Farage is ousted and an English speaking dictator gets control and we end up back in 1935 again, I see many parallels between today and then, it's the same prejudice, the same hate model lurking waiting it's chance to sweep clean,

But unless these puppets from the mainstream parties start to act like they want to do the job rather than collect 4 years good pay and then go into the world of consultancy, one of these three parties is going to get elected and just like a good new car in time it may misfire and be a costly purchase long term.

I really wish whoever wins the next elections will build a safety and prosperity in this country.

I guess this is part of the issue. when people who oppose the minority that are ruining it for everyone, say something others interpret this as hating an entire race/religion.

I don't believe it's a matter of being against an entire group but it is the minority in that group that are causing the biggest problems for now.

Just as there are orthodox extremist type people in all religions it's people from the Islamic faith causing the problems for now...i don't know when the Christian equivalent caused such brazen barbaric and heinous crimes against man in the name of their religion.

Quite right Doc. When certain Irish people felt that their territory was being invaded by foreign forces & they want their land back, certain extreme elements will use destructive methods to oppose who they see as the enemy. After George Bush began invading Muslim countries, certain militant factions of the society have taken umbrage & started using destructive methods to fight back. The only difference being that the Islamic fundamentalists are using ancient scripture to justify their actions. It's ALL political, not religious. I aint teaching you to suck eggs Doc, just making my own point known to all.

Glad we can all debate this in a constructive & friendly manner though. If you asked me after post 10, I'd have put a tenner on the thread being closed after too long.

Not wonder begin to worry. I feel like taking off to this deserted island you mentioned ... Alas it would cost me too much to ship my barge of an Audi over so it's on hold for now

I think every man should look at his children and imagine they are someone else kids and could he do what he's about to do to them knowing the pain he'd feel if they were his kids,

    Another way to put it

A pilot lets go an air to ground missile and it kills the wife and 3 kids and as he pulls up he sees the father standing there in a right state, how does the pilot feel when it's his wife and 3 kids who are now dead?

I know he's only doing the job he's paid to do but if you could feel anothers pain in this sort of scenario would you or could you pull the trigger?

I've talked with a few blood bayers and I don't think they have any idea, they speak of civil war thinking the Muslim guy is going to stand there and take his shots, I don't think any of them have actually digested a scene from Black Hawk Down or similar,

Here's a bit of my satire for you

Man returns from day in the streets murdering others, he says to the wife can I have a cup of tea, the wife says you'll have to nip out and get some milk, he replies ok and then remembers he just helped petrol bomb the corner shop.
