Morning all,

Now, whilst I can understand that some people will be a little shocked at putting a roof rack on such an elegant shape, sometimes it is just necessary. Next month we're taking a road trip to the south of France and the kitchen sink is also coming, hence the roof rack.
So, after some research on the web, I plumped for a Thule set-up. As luck would have it, my local VW dealer has a deal on so I bought the necessary parts with glee. However when trying them out yesterday found out that the rubber blocks that fit under the feet of the rack, and are roof shaped or meant to be, are in fact not, at least the front ones aren't. The rears seem to fit good but the fronts seem as if they fit another car.
I was back to the dealer and they agreed that the fit is not good and will contact Thule on Monday. The parts guy checked all the part numbers and they all match up to the instructions, so it's a bit of a mystery.
Is it possible that the roof shape has changed form with the new CC ?
Has anyone else experienced this?

Grateful for any input
