Sam It will say in the options list. 1st page of your service book. Can get all the options decoded online and this will tell you. That's how I done mine. Mine are 312mm and option code was 1LT.

    Hope this helps

    ive got 288mm disks.

If I want to put 312's on it, what do I need to change?

Is it just the Carriers & Dust shield or do the calipers need changing too?

    Next Question.

The advert on fleabay about the cariers i'm looking at says they are for ATE calipers and not Lucas. is there a quick way to know what calipers I have? or is it a wheel off and look for Manufacturer markings job?

280 are Lucas/Girling, 288>345 are ATE. Part number wise 288 and 312 calipers are different but in my experience those from a 288 can be used on 312 discs and carriers.

Cheers crasher. Is that stamped on the Caliper or will that be on my Equipment list? Also, Are the front and rear Discs different? there are 2 sets of Drilled & Vented 312mm Discs on ebay at really good prices so didn't know if I should bid on both sets or just one and then find some rears to match.

Andrew555_123, Yes the 3.0 petrol has the 312mm discs and those are the carriers I need to get. I can get them from ebay for £40 each side so I think that is what I am going to do.

I'm then going to paint my Calipers and the hub on the Disks a nice Gloss Black (a bit like an S4 but without the S4 logo) just to finish them off. I did want red Calipers but I think they look a bit cheap when done to the Standard Calipers, they really need to be big 6 Pots if you are going to make them stand out.
