    Default Soft Close Doors – 13-05-2013,07:20 AM
    Where in the car menu do I check if my car is enabled with the "soft close door" option. I have an A8 2009 sport with the 3g mmi system ( I think! )..

    Its easier to check it before you get to the MMI, just close the door slowly, when its about 15mm from fully closed, a motor will take over and shut the door for you.

    If it doesn't do that, then it won't have the door motors. Nobody with the option would disable it, they might ignore it and just slam the door like they do on a Fiesta, but there would be no reason to disable it.

    This is my favourite feature on these cars. Shame mine doesn't have it.
