Gear change tiptronic gearbox

Hey just been watching the gear change. And I've noticed that mine seem to be all over the place. At 12mph I'm still in 3rd and this doesn't change till 25mph. Don't know if this is a good thing or not but to me it just feels like I'm in the wrong gear all the time? Maybe it's just a diesel thing?

Yep mine does this too.

Coming up to a standstill and accelerating again it's still in 2nd at 5mph.

I'll try and grab a video the next time I drive the car.

If I'm doing 5mph in 2nd, I'd say thats right.

Yup! Same here. I also thought it to be too weird... Maybe its 'normal' don't have a clue. I'd think if it is, that it would cause a lot of stress on the third gear?

Audi, just told me that the gear box doesn't actually have gears as such! It has something to make it appear to have gears so you feel the gear change!
