    Hi Everyone
First post so bear with me.

I have a small oil leak that leaves a little bit of oil where I park. Just a spot.. coming from the passenger side under the bonnet. But thats not why I'm posting.. sure there is a loose nut or something .. Ill get it up on the ramps tomorrow and have a look.

But when I checked how low the oil was on the car I noticed a GAP where I think something should be.

    The car is a 2002 A4 Tdi 1.9 Estate.

    any ideas what's missing?

    Any known oil leak issues?

Car runs like a a dream otherwise...

Thanks for you help... useless when it comes to motors...

    David

Your missing the Power Steering cowling.

    It looks like this.

But if you are going to buy one, I recommend the RS4 version which looks like this.

    1.8Turbo. Stage 1 Tuned 215bhp
l Powerflow Cat Back Exhaust l Carbonio Cold Air Intake l Forge 007P Diverter l Stage 1 Remap l Stage 2 Carbon Kevlar Clutch l 40mm Apex Lowering Springs l HZ Altezza Front skirt l HZ Altezza side skirts l HZ Altezza spoiler l Votex Rear Bumper l 19" RS6 Alloys l 312mm Brake Upgrade l 2007 S-Line Interior l

The big gap is for the brake servo vacuum pump used on cars with an automatic gearbox. Part number 8E0 103 927 A (about £17) should do the job but it was not used mid 2002 onwards.
