I have had my S4 now for about 6 months so thought it was about time to have a play with the oily bits
Does anyone have first hand knowledge of tuning the 3.0l supercharged lump?
Revo are quoting over 400bhp with remap alone while Apr will take it to over 400bhp but want to change pulley and ehxaust

I don't own an S4 (unfortunately) but these guys seem to have a good reputation http://www.mtm-online.de/en/Audi/S4-...?FZID=S4B8245Q and they do a full upgrade package to 440hp (RS4 Eater ) plus exhausts etc...

MRC Tuning also come highly recommended. Watch Chris Harris Video on driven with the S4 and RS4. The S4 had a Revo map and exhaust pretty much kept up with the RS4. They didnt dyno it but must have over 400bhp

    Yeah that's the problem Miatang
    Mrc £750 inc vat
    Revo £1200
Both quoting same kind of power increase seen as MRC are well thought of I think I will probably go with them.
    Thanks for all reply's

    Thought I best update this.
I took my car for a remap today after months of deliberation I opted for the revo remap and I have to say I am not disappointed.
I went for the revo for 2 reasons.

1, the tuner was more local to me he nearest apr tuner is about 90miles away not that I foresee any problems but it's nice I know I can just drop in if needed.

    And

2, I have been told that fitting a smaller supercharger pulley that apr recommend can cause over heating problems not sure how true this is mind.

It is so much more drivable with very noticeable gains from around 1800rpm right to the redline where the stock map felt flat till nearer 3500rpm.

It's made the car how it should have left the factory I cannot believe how much audi are sandbagging the 3.0tfsi it truly is an awesome engine and an awesome upgrade.

Glad you are happy with it. If fuel were cheaper I would have gone for an S4 too lol, or even an RS4. I wouldn't say they are "sandbagging" the engine as such, you can thank the EU for that. The problem these days
isn't getting power out of an engine anymore - its keeping the emissions down. If the emissions don't fall between a certain range with things like NOx and particulates then they aren't allowed to sell them
    in the EU.
