Please help, i can't decide if i should keep my Audi A3 tdi 140 black edition 2009 3 door, or my Audi A3 tdi 170 black edition 2010 5 door Quattro. The 3 door is doing around 50-55mpg and the 5 door is doing about 40-45mpg. I know the 5 door is a quattro and the mpg will never be as good as the 3 door, but i'm just torn because the 5 door has alot more toys and is newer.......

Do you need a 5 door?

Remember most things can be retrofitted?

For example, I have fitted RNSE, Bluetooth, Cruise Control and Footwell Lights to my Sport.

Er, well my good lady and i are thinking of starting a family, so we thought the 5 door would be the best. We do also live out in the sticks, so the quattro would be handy, but knowing our luck it will never snow again. As for toys, the 5 door comes with ipod dock, cruise control, parallel park assist, parking sensors, hill hold, and electric folding mirrors. The 3 door is just a standard black edition with a kufatec handsfree kit

With kids, 5 door is a must. Keep the 5 door.

Especially with rear-facing child seats that are required from birth.

5 door.....no question! With children it's a MASSIVE pita with only 3doors.
